Friday Night Live! ... (FNL!)

Leaders!...Where you at?

FNL is an organization created to develop and mold young students into mature, successful, life long learners and contributing citizens to their communities.

What is FNL?

FNL stands for Friday Night Live. FNL is a county run program designed to teach kids the importance of having drug and alcohol-free events.  It was originally started at the high school level and has now filtered down into the elementary schools as “Friday Night Live Kids”.  FNL plans events throughout the year that are drug and alcohol free.  We are required to perform meetings with student leaders, promote leadership skills to FNL members and hold at least one community service event per year.  This is the program we have here at Bethune!

Rally: Friday, September 24th for 4th and 5th graders from 1:30-2:15

Halloween Dance: Wednesday, October 27th from 1:00-2:00 dress up in your costumes

Red Ribbon Week: October 23-27 Pledge to be drug free

If you are interested in joining or assisting with FNL!, please contact me in room D-17 or @ (951) 490-0380 or tlang@valverde.edu .

Thank you and don't forget, "Be a LEADER, NOT a follower!"
