Victoriano Elementary School is located in the city of Moreno Valley, and opened its doors in 1989.  It currently serves approximately 700 students in grades K-5.  Our student population is approximately 46% Hispanic, 36% African-American, 11% White, 4% Filipino, 2% Asian, and 1% Pacific Islander.  About 70% of our students participate in the federal Free or Reduced-Price Lunch program.

In 2006, we were recognized as a California Distinguished School, and as a National Blue Ribbon School.  We have also been recognized as a Title I Academic Achievement school for five consecutive years.  Although we are proud of our accomplishments, we continue to refine our academic program with the goal of having all our students reach grade level proficiency.  In providing a strong foundation for our students we hope they will continue their educational success in secondary schools, and have every opportunity available to them upon graduation from Val Verde USD.

In 2011, Victoriano was recognized by the California Business for Education Excellence as a STEM-STAR school. Our school continues to accelerate achievement through advanced learning technologies.  In addition, the school was honored to receive the 2011 Golden Bell Award.

Way to go Chiefs!
