CHEER ACCOMPLISHMENTS, JULY 2011:

We are headed back from an amazing weekend at cheer camp! After a summer of hard work, here are our accomplishments at cheer camp:

Varsity, JV, and Song all received bids for Nationals in Dallas, Tx.

Varsity took Top Team in Performance.

JV took 1st place in Champion Chant.

Both cheer teams were recognized for excellence in spotting/stunting.

Among the three teams, we had 19 All-American Nominees. 

7 Varsity, 2 JV, and 2 Song were selected as all Americans.

Rancho Verde was awarded the Lawrence Herkemyer teamwork and leadership award.

Song was awarded the technical growth award.

Jonathan Jackson was asked to apply for NCA staff for next season.

And all 4 coaches passed our NCA/NDA credentialing class, which of course means we should make more $$ and have our own practice facility! (haha. "That would be ridiculous!")

Needless to say, we cleaned house and are exhausted, but proud and excited about a great cheer/athletic season at Rancho and in the world of competitive cheer! Thanks for your support!
